The kids did AMAZING on the drive. We only had a couple of melt downs and they were pretty short lived. After a few hours in the car we had to make a play stop we found a cute little park in very Eastern Colorado. The kids played here for only about a half hour but that got out some of the energy. There was also a book sale at the park and they each got to pick out two new books.
As we went farther east Eva had a little trouble with the increased heat and humid air. She kept having little break downs about how hot it was and she was leaving and going back to Colorado.
We were in the car for 5 full days and drove through the eastern part of Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and finally Virginia.
This was the first morning in the house. We were so excited to be here and not on the road.
We had a few boxes of things we brought in the car with us so we gave the kids the stuff that went in their rooms. This is where their true colors came shining through.
Jack's room he did by him self....
And Laila's room she did by her self.........
So for now here are just a couple more photos around. We are currently buried in boxes and stuff the size of this house is much smaller then our Colorado home and we truly don't know what we are going to do with all the stuff. I guess storage....
This is Nigel's barn. Its an old barn and looks like it on the outside but the inside is amazing! We can't wait for him to get here next week and check it out!
The kids love to stand on the fence while Daddy runs around the pastures.
